The Observing Cat

This photograph was shot in Belgium and displays my random encounter with a very photogenic cat in the Park.

Despite my dog, who is just like the stereotype of a dog when it comes to cats, I was able to take many interesting photographs.
This one stands out with head and shoulders. Not only the direct look of the cat's eyes, but also the beautiful spring environment made this photograph the best one of that shoot.

Hello,

I'm Sander and my passion is Photography. When I got my first camera in 2009, It felt like I was granted something powerfull to capture my life in an entire new way than I used to see it. Over years I learned more about the technique behind photography and in Spring 2011 I bought my very first DSLR Camera, the Canon EOS 550D.

Most of my work on DeviantART is produced from this camera, but also a few of older pictures could be found from my point and shoot camera, the Samsung ST5500.

My main focus are landscapes. I love capturing the beauty of nature, which is no longer noticed by many. My work brings that beauty back in the spotlight, scenes where another person would walk by with a cell phone in his hand and and headphones in both ears.
Other than landscapes also more urban themed photographs appear in my gallery, but from my own perspective.

Apart from landscapes, I'm also learning the magic of photography of stars. It is not the most easy scene to capture, but progress is being made each day and look forward to the day I can feature a stunning piece.
